Edward Gorey: Reminiscences by Anne Bromer

Celebrate the centennial of Edward Gorey’s birth by coming to the Nahant Public Library’s talk on the innovative author, illustrator, and artist from renowned bookseller, Anne Bromer. The event will take place at Town Hall.

Anne Bromer and husband, David, began Bromer Booksellers in the 1960’s and were located in Copley Square for 45 years. Last year, Anne closed the business, having traveled the world buying and selling rare books for sixty years. During he decades, she met fascinating people, none more curious and special than Edward Gorey. Anne worked on five book related projects with the author.
