Letter Writing Campaign

Saturday 10/11, 1-2pm

Come to the library to write a letter or a postcard thanking your favorite banned author. We’ll provide the stationary, the postcards, the envelopes and the stamps. We’ll even have a list of banned authors and addresses.

Dear Banned Author is a letter-writing campaign that encourages readers to write banned or challenged authors during Banned Books Week and beyond to share what their stories mean to them. It’s meant to host awareness of censorship while supporting the power of words and those who write them.
