Saturday, September 10 will bring two events to the Library. The first is at 10:00 a.m., when Mass Audubon presents a program on butterflies, with some beautiful photography included in the presentation. Learn about how to attract different butterflies to your garden, and how butterflies benefit the ecosystem. Then participants will be invited to a secret location to go looking for butterflies. This program is free, sponsored by Nahant S.W.I.M.

After lunch, please return to the library at 2:00, when Library Director Sharon Hawkes will update everyone on the restoration of the building, and will talk about this past year’s work to better interpret the historic artwork and Native artifacts display in the building. Attendees will receive a tour brochure of the building, and will be invited to explore the first floor and grounds and get an insider’s look at the artwork and the building.

The weather sounds like it will be wonderful, so come, enjoy, and learn!
